Countries
The Countries configuration tab allows administrators to define and manage both countries and their corresponding provinces / states. These entities form an essential part of the addressing system in SellStack.
A country is always a required component of an address, whereas a province becomes mandatory only if the selected country has at least one province configured in the Admin interface (see Country provinces / states in SellStack Admin image).
Upon installation, SellStack provides a predefined set of countries. Additional countries can be created directly through the Admin interface as needed. The United States is included by default, complete with all of its states.
Each province code must follow the XX-YY format, where:
XX represents the ISO country code, and
YY represents the official province (state) abbreviation.
For successful integration with Microsoft Dynamics, provinces or states must also be defined using this two-letter abbreviation format to ensure correct data import into SellStack. Provinces can be defined with or without a country prefix in Dynamics (e.g., both US-NY and NY will work).
