Loyalty system

The Bonus Points (loyalty) feature allows your customers to earn points based on purchases or other rules, and later redeem those points as discounts in future orders. This encourages repeat business and builds customer loyalty. A Strategy is the main configuration entity that governs how points are awarded. A single strategy may include multiple rules (eligibility conditions). It also defines a calculator (or method) that determines how many points are awarded. If your subscription package includes the Loyalty feature, you can create your own strategy in the Marketing section of the Admin interface. Open a bonus points strategy form (see Bonus points strategy configuration form in SellStack Admin image) and define the following properties:

  • Code

  • Name

  • Enabled - Activates the strategy

  • Rules - Eligibility conditions for earning points

  • Calculator type - determines how many points will be earned

  • Number of points earned per one currency

When placing a new order, a customer can choose to spend (redeem) their accumulated bonus points as a discount on items in the cart.
