Locations

Location¹ is an important property when working with Lot numbers. A Lot number can belong to a single location¹ in Dynamics 365. In the default setup of an MSO mode, customers can only purchase Lot numbers whose location¹ matches the used channel (storefront). However, it is possible to configure channels in a way to expand the scope of allowed locations¹ for a particular channel (e.g., set the REC location in the included 365 locations field in the channel configuration of the MED location to sell Lot numbers from the REC location in the MED storefront).

In the SSO setup, there is only one storefront where the Lot numbers from all locations¹ are displayed.
