Attributes

Most of the Lot properties from Dynamics 365 are saved as Lot attributes. In fact, a Lot Attribute in SellStack is a separate entity that can have its own configuration, type, translation, and value. There is a dedicated Lot attributes option in the ‘Catalog’ section of SellStack Admin. Clicking that option opens a Lot attributes grid (see Lot attributes grid in SellStack Admin image). There, it is possible to check which attributes are being imported from Dynamics 365. Naming and configuration can be adjusted in the Lot attribute editing form (see Lot attribute editing form in SellStack Admin image) that is accessed by clicking the ‘Edit’ button in the Lot attributes grid. Adjusting the Name property changes the attributes' name in filters displayed in the shop or on the product detail page.

'Show in product filters' checkbox controls filter visibility on the product detail page. This option needs to be combined with the 'Lot attributes filtering' checkbox in the product’s configuration. Both options need to be selected for a filter to be enabled in the product detail page. To emphasize, products in the shop cannot have different filters on their page.

'Show in shop filters' checkbox controls filter visibility in the shop. Using this filter, products can be filtered by the Lot attributes of their Lot numbers.

'Show in Lot list' checkbox controls which Lot attributes will be displayed in the Lot table on the product detail page. Clients usually want to show information about key dates (expiration, manufacture, harvest, etc.), THC, and CBD levels.

Return to the Lot editing form and go to the attributes section to check the Lot attribute values. Check if all data matches the Dynamics 365 data. The most common discrepancies arise because of the wrong input fields used (e.g., for THC and CBD levels) and wrong date formatting. Users should set dates in Dynamics 365 in YYYY-MM-DD format.
