Inventory

Lot inventory serves as a basis for determining a product’s inventory. It is captured with only two fields - on-hand and on-hold and calculated by following these rules:

• On-hand value is set to the Quantity on Hand value when importing data from 365

• On-hold value is set to the larger value between Quantity on Hand and Lot Reserved Inventory values. On-hold value cannot be larger than on-hand value.

Lot inventory can be checked on the Lot number page (Lot number page in SellStack Admin image) and in the attributes section of the Lot editing form (Lot editing form (attributes section) in SellStack Admin image). The lot number is out of stock when the reserved inventory (on-hold value) is equal to the total inventory (on-hand value). In this situation, the Lot number will not be visible in the shop. Customers cannot purchase Lot numbers above their available stock inventory.
