Media

The Media section allows administrators to manage all uploaded assets used within the CMS. Each media entry contains:

• Name

• Type - Identifies the asset (image, video, or file).

• Link

• Enabled

• Channels

• Content displayed on the media

The media records are mostly used within Netgen layouts (for headlines, banners, or logos), but can also be used within CMS Pages.

Users can change the site’s main logo by creating or editing a CMS Media record with the code ss_logo. The media must contain an uploaded image, be enabled, and be assigned to the channel or channels where the logo should be displayed. When a request is handled, the storefront looks for a valid ss_logo media assigned to the current channel and uses it as the site logo. This mechanism allows different channels to use different logos while keeping themes universal and functional without requiring any additional configuration.
